if light travels in a straight line than why in water things or light appears to be moving?
Answer:
In water, things appear to move because of refraction. Water, being denser medium than air, refracts light. Speed of light reduces in water and the objects seem to be in a different position in water than they actually are. If the water is not still, the objects appear to be moving.
