Let age of son is x and age of father is y

Now, According to first condition,

2x + y = 70 ..............1

According to second condition,

x + 2y = 95 ..............2

Multiply by 2 in equation 2 and subtract it from 1, we get

     2x + y - 2(x + 2y) = 70 - 2 * 95

=> 2x + y - 2x - 4y = 70 - 190

=> - 3y = - 120

=> 3y = 120

=> y = 120/3

=> y = 40

From equation 1, we get

=> 2x + 40 = 70

=> 2x = 70 - 40

=> 2x = 30

=> x = 30/2

=> x = 15

So, the age of son is age = x = 15 years.

and the age of father is age = y = 40 years.
