Cyclonic rainfall, also known as frontal rainfall, occurs when a warm, moist air mass collides with a cold, dry air mass creating a low pressure system that leads to the fprmation of clouds and precipitation. This type of rainfall is typically associated with extratropical cyclones, which are large low pressurs systems that form in the mid-  latitudes.

Orographic rainfall, also known as relief rainfall, occurs when moist air is lifted as it moves ovar a mountain range. As the air reses, it cools and the moisture condenses, formisng clouds and precipitation. This type of rainfall is often more intenes on the windward side of the mountains, where the moist air is being lifted,and lighter on the leeward side, where the air has already descendedand dried out.

Conventional rainfall known as convective rainfall , occurs when warm, moist air rises and cools, forming clouds and precipitation .

this type of rainfall is often associated with thunderstorms and is common in tropical regions.
