A and B

Solu: In this type of question, first we have to convert the money either into rupees or

into paise.

Let us convert the money into paise.

      A has 10 rupees

=> A has (10 * 100) paise

=> A has 1000 paise

Again, B has 5 rupees 25 paise

=> B has (5 * 100 + 25) paise

=> B has (500 + 25) paise

=> B has 525 paise

Now, A/B = 1000/525

=> A/B = 200/105    (1000 and 525 are divided by 5)

=> A/B = 40/21    (200 and 105 are divided by 5)

=> A : B = 40 : 21

So, in this way, we convert money into ratio.
