As we know, the digital signals are quantised and discrete, whereas analog signals are continuous. So when we compare these two, the digital signals will contain codes that will be a part of the continuous analog signals, and thus they will be ovrelapping. This is what is meant by a digital signal is actually set of superimosable analog signals.
