

I think you are getting confused about the basics of an atom.
Definitely, there are positively charged particles called protons. The Rutherford’s alpha ray scattering experiment clearly proves that the atom has a central positive nucleus. In fact, each atom of an element contains the same number of protons which is the atomic number of the element represented by Z.
The neutrons are the elements which do not have any charge though they have mass.
You can find an analogy between electrons, neutrons and protons with numbers. The numbers are positive numbers like +1, +2 etc, Zero and negative numbers like -1, -2 etc. We cannot say zero is a positive number or positive number as zero.
Similarly, cold and hot bodies differ in the temperature value. The range of temperature can be negative, zero or positive.
