By Bohr hypothesis, the radius of the nth orbit is given as Rn = n2h2 / 4 ∏2 m Ze2
Case 1: In case of Hydrogen, first orbit, n = 1 and Ze = 1 Hence, R = h2 / 4 ∏2 m
Case 2: If the mass is doubled, then R = h2 / 4 ∏2 (2m) which clearly indicates that the radius is halved.
