Terylene is extensively used synthetic polyester fibre produced by polymerizing ethylene glycol and terepthalic acid. It is used in textile industry to make saree, dress material and much more.  Terylene in combination with cotton (terrycot) and wool (terrywool) is used to make variety of vibrant clothes.

 It is a strong fibre and has elasticity. It also resist crease and hence extensively used for production of different fabrics.
