a) Ti2+, as it cannot be further oxidised by water. Ti+ is oxidised to form Ti2+.
b) Cu2+, Cu+ is oxidised to form Cu2+.
c) Cr3+, Cr2+ is oxidised to form Cr3+.
d) V4+, as it is most soluble in water and does not precipitate. Its 4 positive charges interacts (dipole-dipole interactions) maximally with water and gets stabilised.
