in hydrolysis of salt the salt disscioate then why the equilibrium sign is there when we can't get the salt back

Equlibrium sign is only for week salt like sodium acetate
it means the concentration of dissociate ion and un-ionized salt some times become same or equal thats why that sign comes in between
