Mam, by the cyclic structure of glucose it is proved that -CHO group is not free to show reaction.
But, it is a monosaccharide hence a reducing sugar.
But, reducing sugar are those in which aldehyde and ketone groups are free.
How can be glucose considered as reducing sugar mam?
