Test tube baby i.e. IVF in vitro fertilization- fertilization usually occurs in a petri dish which is a round glassware with wide mouth than a test tube. The ovary which produces ovum is stimulated with drugs to produce multiple eggs and sperm which is from semen also placed in to dame disk. Fusion of nuclei of sperms and eggs occurs naturally without any intervention and then it allows to grow and selected wmbryo transfer to the uterus. Then the pregnancy continues to be normal.

ICSI- Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection, in this sperm is injected into egg by a specialised needle. The fertilization is more successful in this method. Pregnancy success rate depends on acceptance of embryo by uterus.
