Fragmentation- It is a mode of asexual reproduction. It is unintentional cutting up of the body of an organism which grows into different organism. It us comminly seen in algae.

Regeneration- It is also a mode of asexual reproduction but has two types. The first type , a part of a body gets broken off or cut is regenerated like lizards. The other types, has a capacity to give rise to an entire organism from a cut part like hydra and planaria.
