In sanpdragon, a cross between true bleeding red flower plants and true bleeding white flower plants show a progeny of pink flower.
The appearance of pink flower is not caused as blending because the alleles do not mix or blend and they maintain their originality and reappear in F2 generation. The pink colour appears just because the dominant allele is not completely dominant over the recessive allele for colour. This phenomena is called incomplete dominance.
