Quasi-Static process is an infinitely slow process where in the heat exchange/work exchange occurs in infinitely small steps.
During a quasi-static process, the system is at all times infinitesimally close to the equilibrium state.
Though we consider examples like mass less spring in mechanics or slow compression of gas, it is all ideal case and not realistic or real life situations.
