Question:
Intensive property ?explain how density is intensive.
Answer:

An intensive property is a physical property of a system. It does not depend on the size and/or the amount of material in the system. Examples temperature, refractive index, density, and hardness of an object.

Mass and volume are extensive properties while hardness is intensive property. The ratio of two extensive properties of the system is an intensive property. For example, the ratio of an system or objects mass and volume which are two extensive properties but density is an intensive property.
