Question:
a photon has an energy of 5*10^-11 erg. what is its wavelength
Answer:

Given that, E =5 x 10-11 eV.

E = hC/ λ

where, h is the Planck constant, c is the speed of light in vacuum and λ is the photon s wavelength.

As h and c are both constants, the photon energy changes with direct relation to wavelength λ.

E = 1/ λ

or,  λ = 1/E = 1/5 x 10-11  =0.2 x 10-11 μm
