We know when electrons excites to higher energy level, it will comeback to lower energy level and emits radiation particularly visible rays. This imparts colours in chemical reactions. But my doubt is the same phenomenon happening with our surrounding objects like pen, books, house paints etc???

For transition from one level to another level is possible when you will give extreamily high temperature at a particular wavelength.
