Water can exist in three different states: solid, liquid, or gas. Two Hydrogen atoms bonded with one oxygen atom together and form H2O. Oxygen is highly electronegative element than hydrogen. As a result, the slightly positive H atom is attracted to the negative charge O and form H2O. In solid, this interaction becomes very strong whereas, in gas, the interaction becomes weak. That is why water molecules are not same t its various states.
