in organic chemistry why always the example of benzene is given?? can't we can give the example of methane,ethane,propane....etc

Benzene is an aromatic compound, whereas methane, ethane, etc are aliphatic compounds, and hence these two groups have different chemistries. Depending upon which part you are studying in organic chemistry, that is whether it is arommatic compounds or aliphatic compounds, accordingly your examples will also vary.
