

Hydrogen fluoride is a compound which is represented by the chemical formula HF. Its structure is shown below -

Fluorine is a very electronegative element, and so the bonding electrons will be attracted strongly towards the fluorine, away from the hydrogen. So, hydrogen gets a partial positive charge and fluorine gets a partial negative charge.
