Invivo is a scientific term used for the experiment where the subject of experiment is a whole body of living organisms and the experiment is performed outside the test tube. Invitro is where the subject is a dead organism and this type of experiment performed in test tube.

Now metabolism is basically a process which takes place in every living organism and in simpler words it is the reaction which takes place in order to ensute the maintainance of life.
