How is cellular organisation a characteristic of life(Bcoz in case of unicellular organisms , there is only 1 AND ONLY 1 CELL.And of coarse 1 cell cant be arranged or organised.But still they are living).So how can cellular organisation be called a characteristic of life.Even if we talk about organisation inside the cell(Unicellular organism) there are prokaryotes to consider also as they also are living.[Reference Biology diversity in living world:part6]

Regardless of prokaryotes and eukaryotes in both type of cells, cellular organisation is a characteristics of life because in both cells sufficient organelles are present. In prokaryotes, DNA replication, transcription and translation all these activities are performed within cells and in some chemosynthetic bacteria or prokaryotes, formation of food and respiration also occurs.
In eukaryotes, we have a complex system of organisation and in nucleus , replication trancription and other complex phenomena occur. Digestion, respiration, excretion, reproduction all occur with the complex phenomena.
