Question:
Why our taste buds functions poorly after responding to a taste? (e.g Why a sweet substance appears to be tasteless after eating a more sweet food stuff.)
Answer:

Taste buds are like receptors, which can accept the particle in the mouth and transmits the taste signals to the brain through the nervous system. After eating a lot of sweet stuff, your tastebuds are saturated with the sweet taste, and this leaves no more taste buds to physically bind to the food particles further. Therefore, a sweet substance appears to be tasteless after eating more of sweet food stuffs.
