Afferent Neurons:

Afferent neurons are also called sensory neurons. They carry the electrical nerve impluse (signals) from the various sense organs to the central nervous system (CNS).

Efferent Neurons:

Efferent neurons are also called motor neurons. They carry the motor nerve impulse from the central nervous system (CNS) to the effector organ as a response to the stimulus received by the sense organ.
