Angiosperms are a group of plants which produce flowers. Thus, they are also called "flowering plants". The chief identifying feature of such plants is that the ovules of such plants are enclosed within the ovary. Thus, when their ovary ripens it transforms into fruits which contains seeds (mature ovules) inside them.
