Sexual dimorphism is a characteristic shown by organisms of certain species. In this phenomenon, the individuals haing different sexes but belonging to the same species shows differences in features like shape, structure, size or color alongwith differences in the structure and function of organs that they have. 

Examples, this effect is shown by certain plants, animals, insects and birds.
