Answer:
Tears are produced in the tear glands on the upper eyelids. It flows into the eyes through tiny tear ducts and help to keep away from dirt and dust. It is also associated with strong emotions of happiness and sadness when the tear glands gets stimulated.
Aqueous and vitreous humor have no role to play in tear formation.
