Magnetic field is a region of magnetic force created around a magnet, or electric current, or a moving charged particle. magnetic field is oriented in a dipolar orientation having the north magnetic pole and the south magnetic pole. A magnetic filed is commonly generated when electric charge carriers like electrons move through or within an electrical conductor. 

The SI unit for magnetic field is the Tesla.
