Question:
An electric heater of resistance 8ohm draws 15A from the service mains 2hours.Calculate the rate at which heat is developed in the heater.
Answer:

Rate of heat generated =Heat /time

and this is equals to power (P) of the heater.

So,in this question we will find Power of the heater.

P=H/t = Voltage×Current = (current)2× resistance

Given, current= 15 A and resistance= 8 Ω

So, P = (15)2×8

P= 1800 watt
