No. It is a wrong statement. This is because of the following reason-

Mol wt of oxygen = 16 g/mol.

So, 64 grams will have 64/16 = 4 moles of oxygen

Mol wt of carbon dioxide = 44 g/mol

So, 88 grmas of carbon dioxide has 88/44 = 2 moles. 

So, 1 mole of any substance occupies a volume of 22.4 litres.

Therefore, the space occupied by 4 moles of oxygen will be more than that occupied by 2 moles of carbon dioxide.
