Area of rectangular part = length*breadth

Again area of semicircular part = Π*r2
=22/7 * 7/2 * 7/2 (r = 7/2)
= (22*7*7)/(7*2*2)

= (11*7)/2
= 77/2
= 38.5 cm2
So total area = 140 + 37.5 = 177.5 cm2
So total are of the shape = 177.5 cm2
Now perimeter = perimeter of the circle + 2*length
= 2*Π*r + 2*20
= 2 * 22/7 * 7/2 + 40
= (2*22*7)/(7*2) + 40
= 22 + 40
= 62 cm
So perimeter of the shape = 62 cm
