In this example, we have to find the height of the pole.
i.e. We have to find the value of AC
Since value of AB (hypotenuse) is given and we have to find out the value of AC (perpendicular),
So, we have taken sin 30 (angle is given) because
sin θ = hypotenuse/perpendicular
Now, in triangle ABC,
sin 30 = AC/AB
=> 1/2 = AC/20
=> 2AC = 20
=> AC = 20/2
=> AC = 10 m
Other trigonometric ratios like cos30, tan30, cot30, sec30, cosec30 can also be taken,
but it will take more computation compare to sin 30
