Question:
1/0= infinity. (As taught to find value of tan 90). If we take 0 on other side of = then 0*infinity= 1. This is not possible. So where am i Have mistaken?
Answer:

Given, 1/0 =  ∞

=> 1 = 0 *∞

This is not possible because 0 times infinity is not defined.

Another way of looking at this that no one can ever finish multiplying zero times infinity,

therefore, the answer will always be undefined. Even though logic dictates that the answer will never be zero,

this answer will never be reached. Therefore, trying to multiple zero times infinity is undefined.
