Construct an isosceles triangle whose unequal side is 8 cm and corresponding altitude 5 cm. Construct another triangle whose sides are 3/2 times the corresponding sides of the isosceles triangle.

Step of Construction:
1. Draw a line segment BC = 8 cm
2. Draw a perpendicular bisector AD (5 cm) of BC
3. Join AB and AC, we get an isosceles triangle.
4. Construct an acute ∠CBX downwards.
5. Along BX, mark of 3 equal points B1 , B2 and B3 such that BB1 = B1 B2 = B2 B3
6. Join C to B2 and draw a line through B3 parallel to B2 C intersecting the extended line segment BC at C1
7. Again draw a parallel line C1 A1 to AC cutting BP at A1
Now, ΔA1 B C1 is the required triangle.
