Question:
how much would a 70 kg man weigh on the moon? what would be his mass on the earth and on the moon?
Answer:

Weight of an object on moon is 1/6th the weight of the object on earth. The mass of an object on earth and moon remains the same.

So (1) Weight of the man on earth W = mass m * Accelaration due to gravity g = 70 Kg * 9.8 m/s2 = 686 N

     (2) Weight of the man on moon = 686 * 1/6 = 114.33 N

     (3) Mass of the man on moon 70 Kg

     (4) Mass of the man on earth 70 Kg
